These Terms govern your use of the DRILL iOS application. By downloading or using DRILL, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The Service

DRILL is an alarm-clock app for heavy sleepers. A DRILL alarm requires completion of one or more wake-up missions and can optionally ring again for a wake check. Alarm delivery depends on Apple system alarm and notification services.

DRILL is a consumer wake-up aid, not a safety-critical or medical device. Do not rely on it as the sole means of waking where a missed alarm could cause harm. Test your alarms after installation and after material device or permission changes.

Accounts and Data

DRILL does not require a user account. App data is stored primarily on your device, while pseudonymous product analytics, subscription entitlement information, and optional feedback are processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and Purchases

DRILL Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks additional missions, mission chains, insights, and widgets.

  • Apple processes purchases through the App Store.
  • The exact price, duration, trial, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in App Store subscription settings.
  • You can restore an eligible purchase from DRILL's Profile screen.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse or interfere with DRILL, circumvent subscription or alarm protections, reverse engineer the App except where law expressly permits it, or use the App unlawfully.

Intellectual Property

DRILL's software, design, content, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App under these Terms.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, DRILL is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that alarms will always ring under every combination of device state, permissions, battery level, Focus mode, volume setting, operating-system behavior, or service availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, missed alarms, lost data, or reliance on the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination and Changes

You may stop using DRILL at any time. We may suspend access for misuse or legal reasons. We may update the App or these Terms; the date above identifies the latest version.

Apple Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms, including the Standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
